KAMA | August 2023
Each year the Chamber of Commerce takes nominations from the Kalama community for the Totem Award, which is intended to recognize a business or organization that contributes resources to benefit the community of Kalama.
The recipient of the 2023 Kalama Chamber of Commerce Totem Award was the Kalama Artists and Maker’s Association (KAMA), a local non-profit organization made up of local artists and makers.
This group offers community paint and sip and craft classes, a local coloring book, and has painted an interior library mural and an outdoor mural for one of the City’s pump stations.
Present to receive the award were KAMA President Terri Van Matre, KAMA Vice President Amber Leigh, KAMA Treasurer Shirley Sacha, and KAMA Members Kathy Robinson and John Holman.
Congratulations to KAMA on receiving this award!
