This year several KAMA artists were selected to be included in The 2025 Salal Review, Lower Columbia College’s annual literary and arts magazine. It features an inspiring collection of artwork and literature from students, community members, and LCC employees.

KAMA artists Erin Bailey, Nicole Given, John Holman and Marie Wise submitted up to five artworks. The works shown below were selected, and can be seen in the magazine available for viewing in Kalama the Kalama Public Library and at ETC Mercantile, or online at https://www.salalreview25.com/volume-25.

The magazine is published by Lower Columbia College students enrolled in Arts Magazine Production. The Salal team is made up of students and faculty advisors who curate and publish each year’s edition during the academic year.

In 2020 The Salal Review won honorable mention. In 2008, 2009 and 2013 The Salal Review won Washington Community College Humanities Association Literary and Arts Magazine Award.
