Pet Portrait by Jeannette Fedorka

Jeannette and husband Roman moved here from New York in 2013 to be closer to their grandchildren and family.

In life and as an artist Jeannette has always been involved with animals from dog breeding and showing to portraying them in wool/fur felting, colored pencils and other mediums including glass.

Her work has been exhibited in galleries in the North East and in Washington.

She is delighted to join KAMA and to be in the company of fellow artists and hopes to help bring the arts to the community.

Jack Androvich Photography: Dream

Jack Androvich is a Ridgefield Washington resident, a member of the Ridgefield Art Association, Kalama Artists & Makers Association and an at large board member with the Battle Ground Art Alliance.

A photographer since his teen years, he was formally trained by his university professor, an understudy to Ansel Adams. His work includes intriguing reflections, abstracts, architecture, and natural surroundings.

Inspired by photographers such as Eugene Atget, his motto is “What I see is what you get.” His images (other than cropping and contrast adjustments) are straight out of the camera without digital manipulation, double exposures, etc.

He has shown and sold his work in over 50 venues online, in the San Francisco Bay Area, and locally including the Our Universe and Altered Visions shows this spring and summer. He also donates several pieces per year to charitable organization auctions.

As a hobby farmer with 10 acres, the foyer of his red barn serves as a great space for preparing and showing his work.
