Join KAMA members for Kalama Summer Lights on the Fourth hosted by the City of Kalama! A free, family friendly event with live music, artisan vendors, food, and more! KAMA members will be vending their artworks under tents at Marine Park at the Port of Kalama, Friday July 4th, 2025, 12 noon - 9 pm. Event Shuttle: runs 11:30 am until midnight (offsite parking location is at the Kalama school parking lot by the football stadium). Beer Garden under the Westin Amphitheater hosted by the Kalama Lions Club, 12 noon - 9 pm. Free face painting provided by Kalama Fair princesses. LIVE MUSIC includes 12:30 pm-2:30 pm Grace + Dennis (Kalama Locals) 3:30 pm-5:30 pm CloudShine 7 pm- 9 pm 5 Guys Named Moe (The Moes) Fireworks? There is no professional fireworks display, but the Kalama community (the public) typically puts on a wonderful show on the beach.
Each partner will create a portrait of the other using basic acrylic techniques, with step-by-step instruction from KAMA artist Terri Van Matre.

KAMA instructors will help you create beautiful sunflowers from recycled bottle caps! Saturday, August 16, 4 pm - 9 pm. We meet the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm at the Kalama VFW Hall located at 222 N. First St. in downtown Kalama. Entrance is at the rear of the building. All members are welcome to attend. Introducing Makers Mingle a new way to kick off our monthly meetings! Starting at 5:30 we will feature a 30-minute talk from a guest or member sharing their creative process. Afterwards we will enjoy a show-and-tell where members can share what they are working on. If you are interested in being a 'Mingler', please email us at kama@kalamaarts.org or chat with us as the next meeting. Don't forget - bring your latest creation for show-and-tell!
