Celebrate the Holiday Season! Join us for a workshop with instructor Kathy Robinson as she teaches us how to make three beautiful 7-inch Macramé snowflake ornaments! Spiced cider and sweet treats provided. Bring your own alcoholic beverages. We will also have KAMA vendors selling their handmade wares. Cost is $30 per person. Please purchase your ticket below. Kalama Artists and Makers Association at Reece Luxury Art Join us for a fun succulent planting class! Instructors Shirley and Tawnya will guide you in creating a beautiful planter from a mason jar, and then teach you how to plant your own succulent arrangement to take home. They will provide in-depth information on caring for your succulent creation and also how to propagate sedums for your own home gardens or creations. Participants will create two planters to take home. KAMA artist Marie Wise will also be present doing small paintings of succulents for you to purchase. Instructors: Shirley Sacha and Kathy Robinson Create 2 one-of-a-kind pieces of botanical plaster art inspired by nature. Explore the process of rolling out the clay, choosing flowers to cast, pouring the plaster and the best part...unveiling your art! Workshop includes: -- A selection of flowers, foliage and grasses to choose from. Or bring a favorite flower from your own garden. Only need a few. -- Clay for making the mold. -- Plaster casting materials. -- Step-by-step guidance -- 2 finished botanical plaster castings to take home -- A light brunch -- Extra bonus: while waiting for plaster to set, we will be making a macrame keychain for you to take home. Come enjoy a relaxing creative experience and preserve the beauty of nature in a timeless work of art. We will be outside in the parking lot right next to Poker Pete's Pizza and Tavern in downtown Kalama. We will have tents in case of dampness or too much hotness. Please bring apron or wear your play clothes -- this workshop can get messy! This is a basic beginner class -- no experience necessary. Registration is limited.
