KAMA’s Art in the Park events are held in May and October and are listed on the Event Calendar and on social media. The fun, day-long festival provides local artists with a chance to showcase and sell their art.
Attendees have the opportunity to shop for fine art by local artists, enjoy a fun, family experience, and connect with community members. They can also learn about KAMA, enter raffles, and watch demonstrations.
Art in the Park attracts new residents, out-of-town visitors, and cruise ship tourists. It has a positive impact on local businesses and the community in general.
Bringing art into public spaces like Kalama’s parks makes art more accessible to the public and helps create more appreciation for the arts.
